Emergency Response Plan: Notification

  1. In the event of ANY emergency or disaster, immediate notification to the University Police Department at (828) 262-8000 is essential to ensure the timely response of emergency personnel. The University Police Department will notify the Office of Public Affairs of all emergencies or disasters.
  2. The Chief of the University Police Department will ensure that the appropriate persons listed on the Emergency Notification Roster are contacted when an emergency affects the University or their department.
